TODAY: Second Harvest Kicks Off "No Hunger Summer" Feeding Program

<P>Second Harvest Community Food Bank invites kids to stop by four cafe sites from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to take part in the summer feeding program.</P>
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A program that provides free food for kids during the summer kicks off today (Monday) in St. Joseph.

Second Harvest Community Food Bank invites kids to stop by four cafe sites from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to take part in the summer feeding program known as No Hunger Summer.

The program provides lunch to kids 18 and under for free five days a week during the summer months.

Other programs help with food assistance during the school year. No Hunger Summer is designed to help families meet their food needs while kids are out of school.

No Hunger Summer runs from June 24 through August 16.

The Edge Church (5801 King Hill Avenue)

Woodson Chapel (2525 St. Joseph Avenue)

Brookdale Presbyterian Church (203 South 31st Street)

Outside of St. Joseph
