Two Stabbed Outside St. Joseph Bar

Police responded to Heartland Regional Medical Center Friday morning to investigate after the victims went there for care overnight.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A stabbing outside a St. Joseph bar left two injured overnight.

According to Capt. Jeff Wilson with the St. Joseph Police Department, Sugar Ray Hibler, 34, and Megan Bruce, 24, were stabbed outside A's J R's lounge at 1702 Messanie Street.

Wilson said Hibler was stabbed in the chest and Bruce suffered multiple stab wounds, several of them minor defensive injuries.

Police responded to Heartland Regional Medical Center Friday morning to investigate after Hibler and Bruce went there for care overnight.

Police have information on a possible suspect in the stabbing, but they are still investigating.
