Voters Nominate Kovac to Run Against Hook for Western District Commissioner

PJ Kovac will be the Republican nominee for the Western District Commissioner. With more than 68-percent of the vote, Kovac beat out Robert Miller for the spot.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) In the race for the Western District Commissioner, only one can take the Republican nomination.

PJ Kovac will be the nominee on the ballot in November, with 68.49 percent of the vote (1, 856 votes) in Tuesday's primary election.

Robert Miller received 31.51 percent of the vote (854 votes).

Kovac will compete against incumbent Ron Hook for the position.
