(MARYVILLE, Mo.) Wednesday's meeting between the Missouri Western and Northwest women isn't the most appealing matchup on paper -- both teams are 4-8 in MIAA play -- but that doesn't take away the importance.

The Bearcats and Griffons are currently sitting in the final two spots in the MIAA Tournament, and each game is crucial with seven contests left in the regular season.

The two rivals have met for bigger stakes in the past, but with the difference in seeding one win could make, it's not a game to ignore.
