Woman Accused of Stealing from Church Identified, Still At Large

Sheriff Bryan Atkins said Brenda Ann Perry, of St. Joseph, is wanted after someone identified her from a surveillance video.
(ANDREW COUNTY, Mo.) Authorities in Andrew County have identified the woman suspected of stealing from a church on Sunday.

Sheriff Bryan Atkins said a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Brenda Ann Perry, of St. Joseph.

She is wanted after someone identified her from a surveillance video. Cameras at the Family Worship Center in Country Club Village captured video of a woman taking items parishioners coat pockets while the worship service was underway.

Authorities believe that woman was Perry. She faces a burglary charge as well as theft charges connected to the stolen credit card that was allegedly used at a nearby gas station.
