Dana Foster, and dozens of others around the country, make angel gowns.
Foster uses donated wedding dresses and turns them into burial gowns for babies who are born too soon or don't make it past birth.
So far, she has made four and plans to donate them to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
"I kind of have a personal attachment to this. We lost our daughter in February and Heartland doesn't have the resources, they don't have the NICU there. So they haven't received any donations of this sort. So, I want to make sure that any parents that come through Heartland that go through this are going to receive a gown," said Foster.
In the past two months, Foster has been contacted by 10 people who want to donate wedding dresses.
If you would like to donate a wedding dress or want more information about the angel gowns, contact Foster through her Facebook page.
