Edith was born February 19, 1922 in Platte County to James R. and Sarah Alice (Stubbs) Wade.
She was a lifelong resident of the Platte and Clay county areas; and member of the Hoover Christian Church of Hoover, MO.
Edith married Laurel J. Nash on June 5, 1942 in Gashland, MO.
She was a volunteer driver for the Meals on Wheels program for many years; and a past Noble Grand Matron for the Rebecca Lodge Order of Odd Fellows, Golden Link Chapter #677 in Gladstone, MO. Edith also enjoyed reading and square dancing.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; a brother; 1 sister; and 1 grandson.
Edith is survived by: her son Bill (Katie) Nash of Liberty, MO; her daughter Patsy Shouse (Delbert) Loughery of Pittsburg, MO; her sister Edna Logan of Laughlin, NV; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 14 great, great grandchildren.
