Expected Snowfall Continues, With Very Cold Days Ahead

The snowfall has begun and continued exactly as we expected it to. Now we look forward to very cold temperatures and extremely low wind chills for the near future.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) At the time of this writing, the snow on the ground in St. Joseph is about an inch or an inch and a half.

This is right in line with what we were expecting it to do and look like at this time of day.

The snow began in earnest around 2:30pm, and hasn't let up, with stout North and Northwest winds blowing the whole time.

With that cold air and wind, a Wind Chill Warning is in effect until around 9:00am Thursday, with expected wind chills to dip well below zero.

A cold Thursday is ahead of us, with a quick warm up (to close-to-freezing temperatures) for Friday and Saturday.

The beginning of next week looks absolutely frigid.
