Foster's Martini and Wine Bar held its first soup cook off for the Noyes Home on Saturday.
Teams whipped up their best soups, ranging from squash soup to southwestern chili, all for a good cause.
There was also a silent auction with TVs, hair products, and gift cards.
The Foster's owner said he and a friend came up with the idea because they wanted to help the community.
"The management team is great. They've got a good set up for the kids. They don't take government money from either federal or state, and uh, it's really a well run operation, and we appreciate helping kids," said Nathan Karr.
All proceeds from the restaurant and the soup off go to the Noyes Home.
