Governor Orders Flags at Half Staff to Honor Fire Chief

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered U.S. and Missouri flags be flown at half-staff to honor Assistant Chillicothe Fire Chief Joe Darr.
(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered U.S. and Missouri flags be flown at half-staff to honor Assistant Chillicothe Fire Chief Joe Darr.

Nixon's order is for all flags at state buildings in Livingston County be flown at half-staff Monday, Sept. 9.

Funeral services for Darr will be held Monday. He died Wednesday as a result of duty related injuries.
