(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The St. Joseph Health Department is offering free Tdap vaccines this month in response to an increase in pertussis cases across the country.
The vaccination clinics will take place on July 11, 16 and 25 during regular business hours.
The free vaccine is available to anyone 11 years of age and older.
The Tdap vaccine protects against tetanus, diptheria and pertussis. Earlier this year, 49 states reported increase in pertussis cases.
