Police say a Dexter, Mo. man admitted to potentially exposing more than 300 sex partners to HIV, without telling them.
(DEXTER, Mo.) Police say a Missouri man admitted to potentially exposing more than 300 sex partners to HIV, without telling them.

David Lee Mangum is also accused of infecting his former live-in partner with the virus.

Mangum was arrested late last month on a charge of recklessly "infecting" another person with HIV, a felony.

Police say Mangum told them he didn't tell his partners about his HIV status because of "fear of rejection."

Mangum, who was held on a $250,000 cash bond, was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Stoddard County.

If convicted, he could get up to life in prison.
