Iona was born on November 26, 1921 in Wathena, Kansas to Charles and Flora (Shuster) Moskau. She owned and operated the Hardy’s Cafe until 1972. Then she cooked over 10 years at Falls City, Nebraska School District.
Iona was a member of the First Baptist Church, Maranatha Class, Larkettes, Order of the Eastern Star and American Legion Post Auxillary all of Wathena.
She married E.A. Hardy Hageman they later divorced. She spent the rest of her life with her companion, Ed Wickham, then he preceded her in death. Iona was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Keith Moskau, 2 sisters; Mildred Standley and Maxine Pohl, a grandson, Ryan K. Hageman.
Survivors include: daughter, Cindy (Robin) White of St.Joseph,Missouri; son, Larry (Sally) Hageman of Kingwood, Texas; step-granddaughter, Nanny Ankrom family of Salem, Nebraska; 4 grandchildren Shannon (Chris) Hoffart, Kimberly (Jason) Smith, Hubel White and Ian White; 7 great-grandchildren Bethany & Jonah Hoffart, Rylee, Tanner, Ashtyn Smith, Alexis White, Claire White, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
