'Johnny Fry' Marries Childhood Sweetheart at Pony Express Museum

Justin Rother, the man who portrays Johnny Fry at the Pony Express Museum, married his high school sweetheart.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Pony Express rider, Johnny Fry, got married today.

Well, not the real Johnny Fry.

Justin Rother, the man who portrays him in the museum's reenactments , married his childhood sweetheart at the Pony Express Museum.

He said he's been waiting for this day for a very long time, and there was no better place to tie the knot than his second home.

"It means the world to me. I got her with me, which is what I want, and we'll be together for the rest of our lives. That means the world to me," said Justin Rother.

"I think they did an excellent job bringing it all home, and bringing Johnny Fry to a play where, you know, now they'll carry on another chapter in his life. We think it'll be great, him and Aimee. We wish them the best," said Cindy Daffron.

Justin and Aimee Rother have known each other since they were 7 years old.

More than 150 family and friends came to celebrate their special day.
