Junior ROTC students from Benton, Lafayette and Central high schools all took part in the dance.
The event is part of the yearly curriculum for the local ROTC program and aims to teach students how to play and participate in a formal affair. Organizers say they enjoy the event because it gives the kids a chance to escape their day to day life while also learning valuiable life skills.
Each high school got to select their very own king and queen at the even.
Local businesses like Cinderella's Closet donated dresses for the event.
