Kansas State Tabbed 26th in USA Today Preseason Coaches Poll

The Wildcats receive 113 Top 25 votes after finishing 11-2 in 2012.

(MANHATTAN, Kan.) The USA Today released the preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll Thursday with Kansas State tabbed 26th in the nation.

The Wildcats received 113 Top 25 votes after finishing with an 11-2 record in 2012. Kansas State spent a week as the number one team in the nation before losing to Baylor and eventually Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.

Bill Snyder and the Wildcats open the 2013 season at home against North Dakota State on Friday, Aug. 30th. 

Reigning BCS National Champion Alabama comes in at number one, with Ohio State tabbed second after an undefeated 2012 campaign. 

The Big 12 is also represented by Oklahoma State at 14th, Texas at 15th, Oklahoma at 16th, and TCU at 20th.
