(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) The Missouri Department of Conservation says peregrine falcon nests in the Kansas City area produced 13 young birds this spring.

The MDC plans on offer the web camera again next year.

Four more chicks hatched at a nest on a smokestack at the Iatan power plant. Three more came from a smokestack at Sibley. A fourth nest at a Hawthorne power plant did not produce chicks.
