The Red Cross is teaming up with KQ2 for a disaster relief donation drive tonight in St. Joseph. KQ2 Cares is an opportunity for our community to raise money for the Red Cross disaster relief fund.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Watching the tornado devastation in Oklahoma has prompted many in the area to offer a helping hand.
The American Red Cross is one agency working to support disaster relief efforts.
The agency has more than 200 disaster workers in the area with supplies and equipment. Emergency response vehicles from across the country are being used to distribute food, water and other items to those in need.
The tragedy in Oklahoma is just one of several disaster responses underway across the country.

KQ2 Cares is an opportunity for our community to raise money for the Red Cross disaster relief fund.
Donation "drive-thru" stations will be set up at various locations in St. Joseph tonight from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The locations include:
East Hills Library parking lot (502 N Woodbine Rd.)
Lowe's (3901 N Belt Hwy)
K-Mart (3909 US 169 Hwy)
Walmart (3022 S Belt Hwy)
Red Cross Headquarters (401 N 12th St.)
Volunteers from the Red Cross and KQ2 will be available to collect money during the event.
