Lewis And Clark State Park Holds Open Informational Meeting

Lewis and Clark State Park held its annual informational meeting for the public to learn about facility updates, and address any of their concerns.
(RUSHVILLE, Mo.)  The Lewis and Clark State Park held its annual informational meeting on Saturday.

The meeting was open for the public to share questions comments or concerns.

Park representatives also talked about work done over the past year, and any future plans for the facility.

Employees and visitors say, having an open meeting allows them to come together and discuss things related to the park.

"It's always nice to touch base with those people in an informal setting like this, where you can kind of see what they've noticed and what their opinions are. They're here all the time, and they may be able to help notice things that we've done that may have been an improvement," said Amber Terry.

"It gets the information out to the public, what's going on, what they're doing, you know. It's just a good thing," said Donald Christmas.

Even though this is an annual meeting, park employees say they do encourage feedback throughout the year.
