Livingston County to Offer Law Enforcement Training Academy

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office and Missouri Sheriffs Association Training Academy are bringing a law enforcement academy to the Livingston County area.
(CHILLICOTHE, Mo.) The Livingston County Sheriff's Office and Missouri Sheriffs Association Training Academy are bringing a law enforcement academy to the Livingston County area.

The 700-hour basic law enforcement academy will be offered through the sheriff's office. Financial aid and college credit for the academy will be available through Missouri State University.

Enrollment is now open with part-time classes beginning in August and running through June 15.

Employees with the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren, the Missouri Sheriffs Training Academy and others will serve as instructors.
