"The Magic Flute" is considered to be Mozart's greatest contribution to the genre of opera.
The production is fanciful and humorous, yet deals with the battle between good and evil.
The cast has been working since the summer to perfect the performance, their characters, and the songs.
"It's the Magic Flute, I mean it's Mozart, it's gorgeous, it's family, it's comedy, everything wrapped up that you would want in an opera," said MWSU student Lauren Bergman.
If you missed the show Friday and Saturday night, don't worry, you can still see it Sunday afternoon at 3pm at Potter Hall on Missouri Western's campus.
