A private family burial of the cremains will take place at a later date in the Platte City Cemetery.
Mildred was born June 29, 1921. She was a lifelong resident of the Platte County area. Mildred worked as a cook for TWA, and the Gold Buffet; also having worked in the past for the Hallmark Card Company. Mildred loved to crochet, having made many afghans, doilies, and other creations over the years. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her son William Dean Tate; and several siblings.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Pepper, and her husband Rex Sampson of Platte City; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great, great grandchildren.
