Some area youths are getting a lesson in the importance of saving money.

Students at Lindbergh Elementary School are taking part in an after school financial education program, called the United Way Millionaire's Club.

The purpose of the club is to teach children how to make wise financial decisions, by a variety of exercises.

For the kids, saving money is their first step to becoming fiscally responsible.

Aspen Angel said, "I like that they teach kids how to use their money wisely and save."

Gary McGaugh said, "The importance of saving is to save money, so you can have it for later, if you want to buy a car or camera or something."

This "Millionaires Club" got a late start this year, because of all the snow in the past few weeks.

This is the third year for the Millionaires Club at Lindbergh Elementary
