Missouri Western Fraternity Tailgates for Good Cause

A Missouri Western fraternity tailgates to raise money for the Special Olympics.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A Missouri Western fraternity is taking advantage of tailgating festivities for a good cause.

Phi Sigma Kappa used their brand new smoker and cooked 101 pounds of ribs.

They sold $10 plates that included chips and a drink.

All proceeds go to sending two athletes to the 2015 Special Olympics.

Their national headquarters only requested one athlete, but they wanted to do as much as possible.

Their goal is to raise $5,000.

"We're going to be doing this at every home football game, and then we'll also be having it at our car show that we have annually, and that, I believe, first week in May," said Coltin Ridenour.
