Museums Calling for Artists

The Albrecht-Kemper Museum has teamed up with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica for a project that takes art to the workplace.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A St. Joseph museum puts out a call for artists. The Albrecht-Kemper Museum has teamed up with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica for a project that takes art to the workplace.

Different artists will be featured in a rotating art gallery at Boehringer.

The goal is to showcase local and regional artwork in a different way.

It gives businesses a unique look and adds exposure for the Albrecht-Kemper Museum.

"They would like a wide variety, they want sizes, all different sizes. They have galleries that are already for hanging, they've even installed rails to hang the artwork on," said Director of Communications Jane Graves.

Artists, 16 and older, can submit their work to the Albrecht-Kemper Museum until October 25th.

The theme for the art is "Inspired by Animals." The museum has entry information available online and on Facebook.
