Music, More Planned for St. Joseph Fireworks Display

The display will be shot from Wyeth Hill between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., and can be seen from many homes in St. Joseph. For those wanting to get a little closer to the action, the city has suggested three locations.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo) The City of St. Joseph will host an Independence Day fireworks display on July 4.

The display will be shot from Wyeth Hill between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., and can be seen from many homes in St. Joseph.

For those wanting to get a little closer to the action, the city has suggested three locations.

Heritage Park Softball Complex will open to the public at 6 p.m. At 7 pm, Larry Buck's Roadhouse review will play into the display. Food and beverage concessions will be available.

St. Jo Frontier Casino is offering a Red, White & Blue Party beginning at 5 pm. An outdoor stage and seating will be set up for a performance by the Supermatics from 6-10:30 pm. Friends and Family will play indoors from 8 pm until midnight. The casino will offer hot dogs and hamburgers from the grill, along with other concessions.

The parking lot at the Remington Nature Center will open at 6 pm for people to park and gather. A concession trailer will have food and soft drinks.

Wyeth Hill Park will be closed for the day, while crews prepare for the show that night.
