For those wanting to get a little closer to the action, the city has suggested three locations.
Heritage Park Softball Complex will open to the public at 6 p.m. At 7 pm, Larry Buck's Roadhouse review will play into the display. Food and beverage concessions will be available.
St. Jo Frontier Casino is offering a Red, White & Blue Party beginning at 5 pm. An outdoor stage and seating will be set up for a performance by the Supermatics from 6-10:30 pm. Friends and Family will play indoors from 8 pm until midnight. The casino will offer hot dogs and hamburgers from the grill, along with other concessions.
The parking lot at the Remington Nature Center will open at 6 pm for people to park and gather. A concession trailer will have food and soft drinks.
Wyeth Hill Park will be closed for the day, while crews prepare for the show that night.
