Music Store Owner Wants Stolen Speaker Back

Store owner says he won't press charges if speaker is returned.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The owner of a St. Joseph music store is asking for help.

The St. Joseph Music Foundation had a speaker stolen from the store Thursday afternoon.

The store owner has been going over surveillance video and says it looks like a couple of people walked into the store and walked out with the 15 inch speaker.

It was worth around $200, but merchandise surrounding the speaker was worth thousands. The owner was in the back room when it happened and says his trust has been violated.

"That right there was probably the worst part of it. It wasn't the value of the speaker. It was the fact that they chose to disrespect us. And they don't have much knowledge of music which is a big thing to us," Larry Schildtknecht said.

Schildtknect says he just wants the speaker back. If returned, he won't press charges.

Anyone with information can call the store at (816) 676-1112.
