(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Missouri Western's homecoming festivities continued in downtown st. Joseph Saturday morning.

The homecoming parade brought out thousands, and got everyone  hyped for the football game.

Missouri western organizations brought some of their best floats, but parade watchers seemed to be more excited for one thing.

"I'm really excited to see the bands. That's my favorite part," said Kendall Sorensen.

"It's awesome. It's a band competition, and we get to watch all the bands, and the way the students perform, they all try to outdo each other. And, this is just an awesome parade," Lowell Robison.

Missouri Western defeated Northeastern State, 54-10.
