Gov. Nixon said the action would not take away from the progress and importance of the fair.
(KMIZ) Controversy over a rodeo clown mocking President Obama didn't keep Gov. Jay Nixon from the annual Governor's Ham Breakfast at the Missouri State Fair Thursday.
It did dominate the discussion at the annual event. Gov. Nixon said the action would not take away from the progress and importance of the fair.
Nixon reassured the crowd that funding for the fair will not be cut, despite rumors.
The state fair is continuing an investigation into who was involved in the incident.
