Northwest Health Services Enrolls First Customer

The Obamacare website worked just long enough for Northwest Health Services to sign up a 50 year old man.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Obamacare website worked just long enough for Northwest Health Services to enroll its first member on Tuesday.

The website has suffered problems since its launch and has not allowed many people to complete the application process.

Northwest Health Services said the customer was a 50-year-old man, and they were able to save him some money.

Enrollment specialist Tyler Graff said he hopes this is a sign the website is starting to function properly.

"Being able to help an actual person was really exciting and I feel like going forward every day will get a little bit better," Graff said.

Northwest Health Services will hold informational meetings throughout next month.
