NTSB: Pilots Explain Landing at Wrong Mo. Airport

Federal investigators say the pilots told them the on-board computer was working fine, they just mistook the bright lights they saw for the Branson Airport.
(BRANSON, Mo.) The two Southwest pilots who landed a plane at the wrong airport in Missouri are apparently admitting it was their mistake.

That is according to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Federal investigators say the pilots told them the on-board computer was working fine, they just mistook the bright lights they saw for the Branson Airport. It was actually an airport several miles away.

Both pilots remain on suspension as the investigation continues.
