Obama Focuses on Jobs, Economy During KC Stop

For the second time in the last two months, President Obama visited Missouri.
(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) For the second time in the last two months, President Obama visited Missouri.

After focusing on education during a visit to Warrensburg, Mo., in July, Friday the President focused on the economy, jobs, the middle class and took shots at Republicans threatening a government shut down.

Obama toured the Claycomo Ford plant before speaking before a large group of plant workers and supporters.

During his remarks, he discussed the middle class and criticized congress for not doing enough for middle class families.

He also touted the country's workers, saying "the only thing built tougher than ford trucks are american workers."
