(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Francis Street First United Methodist Church had a special guest come in Sunday afternoon.

Scott Foppiano, who is a church and theater organist, put a twist on classical organ music.

His organ concert featured pop and Halloween music.

The concert started off with a costume contest for the kids, and ended with a short silent movie while Foppiano played organ music to the actions.

We always associate the organ with the church and kind of a straight lace concert, and this is going to be a very unusual concert because lots of popular tunes that you may not have heard on the organ," said American Guild of Organists Bill McMurray.

In 2007, the American Guild of Organists selected Fappiano as the organist of the year.
