Crews are hard at work setting up holiday displays at both Krug and Hyde Parks, installing more than 325,000 lights between the two.
You might notice some changes this year, especially the castle at Holiday Park.
"We're in the process of changing from the incandessent lighting to the new LED," said Jeff Atkins, Superintendent of Parks. "The castle will be a lot brighter than it has in the past. It's not going to be the soft white light. it's going to be a bright white this year. We're really excited to see it after dark."
It takes about eight weeks to get everything set up. Krug Park will open up at 6 p.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving. Hyde Park opens at 7 p.m. that night.
