Police Arrest 5 in Stolen Vehicle Investigation

Five people were arrested early Wednesday morning when officers responded to a call about stolen property in St. Joseph.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Five people were arrested early Wednesday morning when officers responded to a call about stolen property in St. Joseph.

Capt. Jeff Wilson said officers located a stolen vehicle at the home in the 2200 block of South 14th Street.

He said two of the suspects were taken into custody on investigative charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing.

Trevor J. Langley, 27, was arrested on an active probation and parole warrant. Joshua C. Smith, 29, was arrested on a city charge for possessing drug paraphernalia. Christina R. Pritchett, 29, was arrested on a Buchanan County drug possession warrant. Shandra Kuehner, 27, was arrested on a city warrant for stealing.

Wilson said one other person arrested was taken into custody on an investigative charge, but police have not released a name.

Wilson said they are trying to determine if the vehicle recovered from the home is connected to the recent cases involving stolen vehicles in St. Joseph.
