Police Search for Suspects Involved in Pursuit that Ended in Crash

Police say three people were in the car, two females and a male. They took off on foot after hitting the car in St. Joseph and they have not been located at this time.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Police are trying to track down three people involved in a pursuit that ended in a crash Monday night.

The chase started in Gower during an attempted traffic stop involving a Honda Accord. The car's driver did not pull over and led police on a chase out of town.

Gower police eventually backed off the pursuit in St. Joseph. About thirty minutes later, St. Joseph police were called to an accident near 33rd Street and Sacramento. The Honda Accord hit a car with two people inside. They were not seriously injured.

Capt. Jeff Wilson said there were three people in the Honda, two females and a male. They took off on foot after hitting the car in St. Joseph and they have not been located at this time.

Wilson said the Honda Accord has a Missouri license plate: 7HE676.
