Police: Suspect's Note Threatens Robbery of St. Joseph Credit Union

Police are trying to figure out who is responsible for a threatening note that was left at the Stationery Credit Union in St. Joseph Tuesday.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Police are trying to figure out who is responsible for a threatening note that was left at the Stationery Credit Union in St. Joseph.

Cmdr. Janice Rothganger said officers responded around 7:15 Tuesday morning to the bank at 1402 S. 10th Street.

The note, which was found by an employee, indicated that the suspect intended to rob the bank.

Cmdr. Rothganger would not offer specifics about the wording of the note.

Police are reviewing surveillance camera footage to learn more.
