The food bank partnered with Apple Market to collect food items for Thanksgiving meal boxes.
The boxes will be distributed at Second Harvest's Community Market on November 25.
The food bank is expecting an increase in demand over the holiday season.
Employees said the list of food items they are asking for will help make sure they meet that demand.
"Things like stuffing and cranberries, and green beans and cream of mushrooms. Typically those items that make that traditional Thanksgiving meal," said Aaron Smullin.
Second Harvest is encouraging the community to stop by their facility, at 915 Douglas St., if you missed today's collection.
Donations are also being accepted.
Second Harvest said a $10 gift can provide one box to a family.
