SJSD Superintendent Plans Outreach Events to Gather Feedback

Dr. Fred Czerwonka has scheduled two town hall events to gain feedback about how the district can improve.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The St. Joseph School District's new superintendent wants to hear from the community.

Dr. Fred Czerwonka has scheduled two town hall events to gain feedback about how the district can improve.

"As the administration and I work to improve our schools, it is vitally important that we hear ideas for improvement, as well as concerns and questions, from the community," said Dr. Czerwonka in a news release.

The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. The one-hour meeting will take place at the Troester Media Center in St. Joseph.

The second opportunity is expected to reach several thousand by phone. The "TeleTown Hall" is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 17. During the event, Dr. Czerwonka will take questions and concerns over the phone.

Dr. Czerwonka plans to take the feedback from the events and present a plan to the Board of Education next month.
