Slick Roads Lead to Bus Crash

Several students went to hospital with minor injuries after bus crashes on slick roads near Cameron.
(CAMERON, Mo.) The Missouri State Highway Patrol says slick roads likely led to a school bus crash near Cameron Friday afternoon.

According to the highway patrol, five children, between the ages of 5 and 7, were taken by private vehicles to the Cameron hospital with minor injuries. All five were treated and released

The Cameron School District bus crashed around 4 p.m. on Stone Creek Road just east of Cameron. According to a crash report, the driver lost control on the slick road and drove off the road, hitting several trees before the bus stopped.

Troopers said no other vehicles were involved.
