People who work the overnight shift can dump the pump beginning this week and catch a ride on a bus.

St. Joe Transit begins its new "Nite Ride" service Wednesday.

Three new routes will serve limited stops, linking several parts of the city with South side industrial areas.

The routes will run from nine at night through five in the morning, Mondays through Saturdays.

All overnight rides will cost one-dollar.

Unlike daytime service, night side bus drivers will not deviate from their routes to pick up riders.
