St. Joseph JROTC Teams Advance in Academic Bowl

Teams from Benton, Central and Lafayette placed in Level I and have advanced to compete in Level II of the JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Students from three St. Joseph high schools are advancing in a JROTC competition.

Teams from Benton, Central and Lafayette placed in Level I and have advanced to compete in Level II of the JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl.

Twenty-four teams from round two will move on to the championship competition that includes a free trip to Washington, D.C. this June.

The JROTC's academic team competed against more than 1,500 teams from around the world to advance to Level II in an online competition, Zero Hour Threat.

The competition quizzes students about the JROTC curriculum, English, Math and Science to prepare them for college entrance exams.
