St. Joseph Man Charged with Statutory Rape

St. Joseph police say Justin Monney had sex with with a girl under 16 years old while he was over 21.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A St. Joseph man has been charged with statutory rape after police say he had sex with a teenage girl when he was over the age of 21.

Justin Monney, 32, is charged with second degree statutory rape.

According to a probable cause statement, Monney had sex with a girl under the age of 16 between March and September of this year.

The victim became pregnant and miscarried the child.

Monney is being held on a $25,000 surety bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday.
