State Treasurer Clint Zweifel has announced a new program that will allow Missourians to donate unclaimed property to charities.
(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) State Treasurer Clint Zweifel has announced a new program that will allow Missourians to donate unclaimed property to charities.

Under the new program, Missourians may choose from 20 different charitable organizations in the state to donate their unclaimed property to.

Zweifel currently holds more than $810 million in unclaimed property, belonging to nearly 5 million account owners.

Missouri is the second state to provide the option and has listed the most charities to choose from.
