Tamba Talks, Depth Chart Released

Tamba Hali Ends Media Lockout; Jerheme Urban Running Alongside Dwayne Bowe
St. Joseph, MO--Todd Haley called it Christmas for the local media. The day the Chiefs first depth chart of the year was released.
In theory, the depth chart gives fans and media an early-season indicator of who will start the season at several positions across the field.

The early surprise in  the roster rotation came in the wide receiving corps. Jerheme Urban's listed as the number one wideout across from Dwayne Bowe. Urban's a 7-year veteran out of Trinity, who's also ahead of free agent aquisition Steve Breaston on the depth chart.

Tamba Breaks Silence

Speaking of Christmas, another miracle happened at Chiefs Training Camp Wednesday.

Tamba Hali ended his media strike after an extended silent period.

"I don't want to come here and tell you guys, this is what I'm gonna do or this is what didn't happen and give a bunch of excuses. I don't want to be in front of the media every day and explaining what's going on."

While he hasn't been talking, he has been talked about. His contract negotiations and brief absence from camp were a point of discussion and speculation the first week of training camp in St. Joseph.

The pass rusher signed a five-year, $60 million contract extension last week.
