Wind Chill Warning Issued Ahead of Arctic Blast

The entire area will see dangerously cold temperatures beginning Sunday and continuing into Monday.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Once snow tapers off Saturday night, bitterly cold conditions will set in through the end of the weekend and beginning of the week. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning, effective at 6 p.m. Sunday until 6 p.m. Monday.

Wind chills Sunday could reach -15 degrees with gusts as high as 29 miles per hour. Temperatures will continue to drop Sunday night, with an anticipated low of -13 and wind chills getting dangerously low; possibly -25 to -30 degrees Sunday night.

Cold air will hang around Monday, with a high of just 1 and those same dangerously low wind chills.
