Dr. Rob Schaaf has sponsored a new State Senate bill that would put limitations on the food stamp benefits for illegal immigrants. Dr. Schaaf says under current Missouri law, immigrants could potentially get food stamps where their legal citizen counterparts might not.
A public forum is set for Tuesday, March 13 at 4:30 p.m. at the Troester Media Center. The forum is sponsored by the St. Joseph Education Coalition, a group that represents teachers, principals and administrators.
