Much Cooler Air Moving in Monday
By Sean Everson | firstname.lastname@example.org
( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) A cold front will be making its way through the region this morning and bringing with it a chance for showers and storms. The best chance for storms will be before noon. The morning showers will hinder afternoon heating so highs will top out around 80 under partly sunny skies. Winds will shift to the northwest in the evening and gust up to 25 miles per hour. Only a few clouds will hang around in the overnight hours which will allow temperatures to drop near 50 degrees as cooler air filters in. The cool air will continue to filter into the region on Tuesday as a Canadian high becomes established in the central Plains. Winds will continue blowing out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Highs will be in the mid 70s under sunny skies.
