Rain Moves Out as Cooler Weather Moves In
By Sean Everson | email@example.com
( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) The storms that produced heavy rain across the majority of the viewing area last night are weakening as they continue to move off to the east. Cloud cover will stick around for most of Thursday and there may be a few lingering showers this morning, especially to the east, but most areas will remain dry. Though temperatures are starting off around 70 degrees, cooler air will move in as winds shift to the north this afternoon and keep highs below normal. Winds will be around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Highs today will only reach the lower 80s. Temperatures overnight will drop down into the mid 60s with only a few less clouds. Friday will be partly sunny and a few degrees warmer with highs in the low to mid 80s. A disturbance will move in and bring a slight chance of a few afternoon showers or storms.
