Saturday was a cold and gray day but temperatures will really start to improve Sunday.

While areas further north and east see snow showers through the night and Sunday, Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas will be spared from the bulk of the winter weather.  We'll still have a shot at seeing light snow after midnight and early Sunday but amounts will be less than an inch.

High temperatures Sunday will rise into the mid 40s and we'll see warmer air than that through the upcoming week.
